ARBOEKO DEPARTMENS
On this 80 ha site Arboeko grows a range of 130 cultivars of avenue and park trees, ranging from 10 - 12 cm (stem circumference at 1 metre height) to approx. 20 – 25 cm. Trees which satisfy the highest quality demands, also for export, are produced here. Tree production centre(tree transplanted 3 or 4 times) On this 80 ha site Arboeko grows a range of 130 cultivars of avenue and park trees, ranging from 10 - 12 cm (stem circumference at 1 metre height) to approx. 20 – 25 cm. Trees which satisfy the highest quality demands, also for export, are produced here. These trees are totally adapted to the middle European climate and achieve excellent growth in their definitive location. Trees can be delivered with or without rootball, dependent on cultivar and size. The customer is very welcome to select and mark his own trees at this nursery.
In this 10 ha highly modern production location Arboeko produces an assortment of approx. 350 varieties of evergreen and deciduous shrubs and conifers, in containers from 1,5 till 7,5 litres. These plants are sold to garden centres and wholesalers at home and abroad and of course to Arboeko’s own cash and carry’s. In total there are around 15000 m2 of greenhouses and tunnels for cultivating young plants and overwintering. The whole facility has been set up as a closed system (total water recycling) to satisfy the highest environmental norms.
The newly built premises, which were opened in spring 2000, offer Moravian clients a wide range of plants. In this cash and carry you find more than 500 kinds of cultivars to choose from and take away throughout the year. All orders from Moravia are expertly collected, processed and dispatched here. On this 22 ha production site a specialist team of motivated employees cultivates young avenue trees, partly on the basis of budding and grafting, over a period of 2 to 3 years. A high level of professional knowledge is necessary to guarantee the best possible quality. Thanks to the special climate circumstances and the very fertile ground in this area the circumstances are especially favourable for young and vulnerable plants. The main target here is to supply internal tree production in Obristvi. Approx. 25% of production is intended for external sales.
